About The Role

Join the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) as a Lead Cyber Security Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding the FCA's digital assets, services, and suppliers, ensuring the organization remains secure and compliant. You will build and enhance Identity and Access Management security products, drive the effective onboarding of key applications, and provide strategic direction on cloud security initiatives. You will also manage the design and implementation of enterprise security products, services, policies, and procedures. The position offers a hybrid working model, private healthcare, a non-contributory pension, life assurance, and income protection.

  • Lead the development and enhancement of Identity and Access Management security products and automation capabilities.
  • Drive the effective onboarding of key applications by delivering robust identity solutions that strengthen security.
  • Provide strategic direction on cloud security initiatives, helping to shape technology investment decisions and enhance the value of security capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders and leadership abilities to inspire and motivate team members towards common security goals
  • Experience of working in a security engineering role supporting Enterprise Security services, products, and architecture
  • Extensive IDAM experience in PAM and IGA
