About The Role

Join our DevX team as a Documentation Engineer, where you'll extend our documentation platform and create new documentation for our customers. You'll work closely with product teams, write reference documentation, integration guides, tutorials, and product documentation. You'll also co-own the pipeline from OpenAPI spec to published API reference, build and maintain scripts and CI jobs, and contribute to OpenAPI spec quality. Experience with AI tools, OpenAPI 3.x specifications, CI/CD pipelines, and fluency with JavaScript/TypeScript is required.

  • Co-own the pipeline from OpenAPI spec to published API reference, including validation, transformation, and deployment.
  • Build and maintain scripts and CI jobs to reduce manual work for the technical writing team through tooling and process improvements.
  • Write reference documentation, integration guides, tutorials, and product documentation, ensuring high quality and accuracy.
  • A preference for correctness over volume. You know when to automate and when automation produces noise
  • Practical experience with AI tools, especially Claude. You use them daily and know how to prompt for useful output
  • Clear understanding of what makes documentation machine-readable, not only human-readable
  • Experience working with or reading OpenAPI 3.x specifications
  • Fluency with CI/CD pipelines
  • You can write code without AI as a crutch. You write scripts, debug error output, and ship working solutions independently
  • Developer empathy. You approach and write docs to increase an integrating engineer’s efficiency. You can produce clear, accurate content, not just tooling around it
  • Comfort with JavaScript/TypeScript. Our tooling uses it throughout
