Technical Program Manager (Production Engineering)

As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the operational structure and focus of our engineering organization. You will work closely with leadership to design and implement foundational engineering programs, manage operational requests, drive quarterly planning, and coordinate work across various teams. This is an internal-facing role that requires a strong understanding of engineering processes and the ability to manage complex cross-team dependencies. - Coordination and operational overhead removal for engineering leaders, allowing them to focus on scaling and mentoring the team. - Designing, documenting, and rolling out foundational engineering programs from scratch, such as modernizing incident management frameworks and release governance. - Driving quarterly planning, backlog refinement, sprint readiness, and execution tracking for reliability and Ops initiatives, while owning the Production Engineering backlog. - Nice to have: Experience in a high-growth, high-throughput B2B SaaS environment - Building high-performing engineering processes and leading organizational change that enables teams to scale, adopt new ways of working, and deliver - Operates effectively in ambiguity, building operational scaffolding from scratch. Comfortable in daily tactical loops with SREs and long-term strategic planning with architects - Direct experience defining or revamping incident management, post-incident review practices, or release governance frameworks - Experience translating raw engineering pain points and incident logs into structured, data-backed business cases for technical debt capacity - Nice to have: Deep familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering concepts (Error Budgets, SLOs, SLIs, MTTA/MTTR) - Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager or Product Manager within Platform, Infrastructure, SRE, DevOps, or Core Engineering Ecosystems. You understand CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and observability - Exceptional ability to manage complex cross-team dependencies and negotiate priorities across Product, Engineering, Platform, and Support
