About The Role

Join our team as an Expert Biomechanics Engineer, where you will drive R&D projects related to numerical simulation in the neurovascular field. You will interpret clinical issues, propose biomechanical models, and help implement verification and validation processes. You will collaborate with various R&D departments, interface with the Software Development team, and engage with the Clinical & Medical Affairs team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree with 5+ years of experience in computational biomechanics or a PhD with 2+ years of experience, strong programming skills, and a clinically oriented mindset.

  • Interpréter les problèmes cliniques en identifiant les phénomènes biomécaniques sous-jacents et proposer des modèles biomécaniques.
  • Prendre en charge techniquement les activités liées à la simulation numérique en biomécanique et résoudre les défis biomécaniques.
  • Collaborer avec les différentes équipes de R&D de l'entreprise et aider à l'interface avec l'équipe de développement logiciel.
  • Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience in computational biomechanics, or a PhD with preferably 2+ years of experience, with a strong foundation in solid mechanics and numerical simulation, alongside comfortable software development skills.
  • Proven knowledge of biomechanics and numerical simulation.
  • Proven knowledge of Python and C++ programming.
  • Familiarity with main tools used in numerical simulation (NumPy, Pandas, VTK/PyVista, Gmsh, ParaView).
  • Strong software engineering best practices (clean code, version control e.g., Git)
  • Mastery of experimental validation techniques for numerical simulation methodologies.
  • Ability to tutor interns and share technical expertise with junior team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and a clinically oriented mindset are required.
  • Strong core values, including multicultural appreciation, integrity, and accountability.
  • Ability to work in a software deep-tech environment.
  • A good sense of humor is always a plus!
  • Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and organizational skills.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and French.
