Business Development Representative (WMS)

Join ShipBob's WMS Sales team as a Business Development Representative. In this high-impact role, you'll be the first point of contact for prospects managing their own warehouse operations. Your mission will be to craft targeted outreach to decision-makers in warehouse ops, supply chain, and logistics, setting high-quality meetings that turn into closed deals. • Identifying, researching, and qualifying brands that are managing their own fulfillment operations, adding high-potential WMS prospects to the pipeline.
• Executing a high-volume, multi-channel outreach strategy, including cold calls, emails, and social selling, to connect with key stakeholders.
• Using a consultative approach to uncover non-traditional opportunities and make thoughtful recommendations, scheduling qualified demos for WMS Account Executives.
• Relentless persistence in the face of daily rejection and delays
• A consultative mindset — you ask great questions and listen before you pitch
• Minimum 1 year of demonstrated success in a sales environment required
• An aptitude for research and understanding data
• Grit. This role requires someone who thrives in ambiguity and finds a way forward when the path isn't clear
• Background in WMS, OMS, 3PL, supply chain, or logistics SaaS is a strong plus — you already know the buyer and the pain points
• A high degree of diligence, accountability, and self-direction
• Comfortable in a competitive environment, with evidence of personal ambition
• Experience selling over the phone and smart calling warehouse operations, supply chain, and logistics decision-makers
