About The Role

Join SUEZ, a global leader in water and waste management. As an Estimation Manager, you will lead cost estimation and pricing strategy for major water infrastructure projects in Australia and New Zealand. You will coordinate inputs from various teams, manage subcontractor and supplier RFQs, and drive value engineering and cost optimization. The ideal candidate will have 8-10+ years of experience in cost estimation within the water, wastewater, civil, or infrastructure sectors.

  • Lead the end-to-end cost estimation and pricing strategy for competitive tenders across various delivery models.
  • Coordinate pricing inputs across multi-disciplinary engineering, operations, commercial, and procurement teams.
  • Manage subcontractor and supplier RFQs, bid comparisons, and pricing validations to ensure robust and competitive cost models.
  • **What You’ll Be Responsible For**
  • Leading full‑scope cost estimation across major water and infrastructure tenders (typically $50M+)
  • Developing first‑principles cost models covering civil, mechanical, electrical, process, commissioning and indirect costs
  • Coordinating pricing inputs across multi‑disciplinary engineering, O

  • , commercial and procurement teams
  • Managing subcontractor and supplier RFQs, bid comparisons and pricing validations
  • Defining estimation strategies, assumptions, allowances, exclusions and risk‑adjusted pricing
  • Driving value engineering and cost optimisation throughout the proposal lifecycle
  • Ensuring governance, audit readiness and executive‑level sign‑off of all estimates
  • Supporting structured handover of estimates to delivery teams post‑award
  • **What You’ll Bring**
  • An engineering, quantity surveying or construction management background
  • 8–10+ years’ experience in cost estimation within water, wastewater, civil or infrastructure sectors
  • Proven leadership of complex, multi‑disciplinary tenders from concept through submission
