Senior Data Engineer

Join our team as a Senior Data Engineer, where you will be responsible for building and operating reliable, analytics-ready data systems that drive decision-making across the organization. You will develop a long-term technical vision for the team, design technical strategies, and mentor engineers. This hands-on role requires advanced SQL skills, experience in a cloud environment, and a strong background in building and maintaining production data pipelines using Python.

• Advanced SQL skills and experience modeling data for analytics and reporting use cases
• Experience working in a cloud environment such as GCP (or equivalent)
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and source control (e.g., GitHub)
• Demonstrated ownership of production systems, including monitoring, debugging, and incident response
• Strong experience building and maintaining production data pipelines using Python
• Experience working with orchestration tools such as Airflow
• Hands-on experience integrating data from external APIs
• Comfort working in ambiguous environments and making pragmatic technical decisions
• Experience operating batch ELT pipelines and working with data warehouses
• Familiarity with dbt or similar transformation tools, and comfort working closely with analytics teams
• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or closely related roles
• Designing or migrating pipelines toward incremental loading patterns
• Working with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)
• Experience with data quality tooling, testing, or observability
• Experience learning and adopting new tools or technologies quickly
• Exposure to BI tools or supporting analytics workflows
