Senior Software Engineer

• Architect and develop software for advanced, production-scale metal 3D printing systems, integrating control algorithms into production software.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to improve and scale out petabyte-scale, high-rate telemetry, storage, and retrieval systems.
• Drive architectural decisions and mentor junior engineers, leveraging your experience in high-performance systems software and backend infrastructure.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in a systems level programming language such as C++, Go, or Rust
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development
• Experience with high-performance systems software such as high-volume telemetry systems, hardware control systems, real-time embedded Linux, or similar
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science or computer engineering
• Experience building out backend infrastructure, high-performance storage solutions, streaming processing systems, scientific analysis pipelines and workflows
• Experience writing software for industrial automation systems, robotics, or related hardware
• Experience with operations systems, computer architecture, or similar computer systems internals
• Experience with computer graphics or similar geometry-intensive problems
• Experience operating as a technical lead, driving architectural decisions and mentoring junior engineers
