Software Engineer (Edge)

• Design, build, and maintain features across Edge's product surfaces, such as the Tulip Player application, device drivers, and cloud microservices.
• Partner with product, design, and QA to scope and ship features end-to-end, from prototype to production.
• Debug and resolve customer-facing issues surfaced in real manufacturing environments.

• Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging practices
• Familiarity with API design and integration (RESTful services)
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript is required
• 2-5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally building production web applications
• Familiarity with React, React Native/Expo (mobile) and/or Electron (desktop) app development
• Experience with hardware/device integrations
• Experience with MacOS and Windows platform development
• Knowledge of Kubernetes/container orchestration and microservices deployment
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies
• Comfortable using AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, or equivalent) to land production PRs
