About The Role

You will scope, architect, implement, and deploy critical backend services, design and maintain reliable APIs, and engage in product discovery. - Scope, architect, implement, and deploy critical backend services across multiple product verticals.
- Design and maintain reliable, scalable, and high-performance APIs and systems in a complex production environment.
- Engage in product discovery alongside experts in manufacturing and software—help define what needs to exist and what needs to be better.
- Know how to develop, deploy, and maintain backend and full-stack applications using a modern cloud or containerized stack
- Expertise in modern backend technologies, with a deep understanding of distributed systems, service architecture, data modeling, and scalable infrastructure design
- Strong ability and desire to write high-quality, maintainable code
- Excited to work in a fast-paced environment with high stakes and quick iteration cycles
- Experience designing and implementing APIs (REST & gRPC)
- Bias toward action and take pride in your work
- Strong product intuition and user empathy. You enjoy understanding how your services impact real operators and workflows
- Experience working across multiple languages or systems as needed: Go, Python, C#, C++, etc
- Background with systems that require high performance, reliability, or real-time processing
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software, robotics, automation, manufacturing systems, or 3D environments
- Demonstrated success implementing and scaling production systems in complex environments
- You must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
