About The Role
Join our team as a Quality Engineer, Production. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring robust production support, facilitating the scaling of manufacturing processes, and integrating new customer technical expectations into the factory's capabilities. You will lead quality planning activities during new product introduction, onboard new customers, and drive root cause problem solving to impact yield and rework rates. Additionally, you will support and conduct internal audits, lead the factory's transition from low-rate to high-volume manufacturing, and create production processes in unstructured areas of our operational system.

- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- In lieu of a degree, at least 5-6+ years of experience in a high-intensity production environment may be considered
- Familiarity with NPI frameworks (PPAP, FAI, or equivalent)
- Comprehensive knowledge of GD&T
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another related STEM field and 4-6 years of engineering experience in a production environment
- Familiarity with machining operations and experience working with very tight tolerances, especially in aerospace manufacturing
- Master's degree in Engineering or STEM related field
- 5+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of quality systems specifically AS9100
- Demonstrated experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience supporting or leading internal audits in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Experience applying software approaches (SQL, VBA, Python, etc.)
- Ability to articulate and defend engineering decisions
- Proficiency with various ERP/MRP systems
