About The Role

Join Atom Computing, a leading company in the quantum computing industry, as a Senior Software Engineer. In this hands-on engineering role, you will design and build high-performance control systems for our next-generation quantum computing platforms. You will work across embedded software, real-time systems, GPU/FPGA acceleration, and hardware orchestration to deliver deterministic, high-throughput control pipelines. Your work will directly impact the operation, scaling, and performance of our quantum processors.

  • Design and build high-performance control systems for quantum computing platforms, focusing on embedded software, real-time systems, and hardware orchestration.
  • Develop and optimize deterministic, low-latency software for quantum hardware, including device drivers, Linux kernel modules, and custom subsystems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate quantum control flows into fast, reliable, production-ready code, and drive design decisions around determinism, throughput, and system scalability.
