Senior Data Scientist

Join Abound, a fast-growing fintech company redefining consumer lending in the UK and beyond. As a Data Scientist, you will work closely with the local Head of Credit Risk to build and develop the credit risk model for the Spanish market. You will also evaluate and integrate local data providers, own reporting for the Spanish business, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and stay abreast of industry trends. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in a related field, 3+ years of experience in a data science role, strong SQL and Python skills, and a passion for improving financial inclusion.

• Collaborate with the local Head of Credit Risk to build and develop the local credit risk model for the Spanish market.
• Evaluate, select, and integrate local data providers to power credit decisioning in Spain.
• Own reporting for the Spanish business, designing the dashboards, metrics, and analytics infrastructure.
