About The Role

Join Abound, a fast-growing fintech company redefining consumer lending in the UK and beyond. As a Senior Credit Strategy Manager, you will lead the growth and performance of our Express / Mid-prime segment, focusing on unsecured personal lending in the higher-APR mid-prime space. You will be responsible for designing and executing credit strategy, optimizing risk-based pricing, and managing portfolio performance. This is a senior role that requires strong credit judgment, commercial instinct, and the ability to balance growth and credit quality.

Design, execute, and refine credit strategy for the Express / Mid-prime segment, balancing growth and credit quality.
Lead the quoting and offering process for customers across aggregator and price-comparison marketplaces, optimizing risk-based pricing.
Monitor portfolio performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and shape underwriting strategy in partnership with risk, product, and data science teams.
