Principal Engineer, Core Infrastructure

As a Principal Engineer in Core Infrastructure, you will architect and evolve the Kubernetes platform, define platform SLOs, improve developer velocity, lead capacity planning, write high-impact code, and embed AI in the developer experience. You should have 10+ years of experience building and operating cloud platforms, deep technical expertise in Kubernetes and related technologies, and a strong understanding of AI tools and automation.

• Architect and evolve the Kubernetes platform, service mesh, networking, storage, and CI/CD pipelines; ship golden paths and IaC modules.
• Define platform SLOs; use error budgets to guide reliability vs. velocity trade-offs; drive incident learning and readiness reviews.
• Improve developer velocity (build/deploy times, flaky tests, local dev ergonomics) with measurable results.
