Strategic Finance Lead

Join Heron as a Finance Associate, where you'll take ownership of operational finance tasks, including accounts receivable, billing, burn reconciliation, and revenue reporting. You'll work cross-functionally, support planning and FP&A, and leverage AI to automate finance tasks. Ideal candidates have 2-5 years of finance or accounting experience, a detail-oriented mindset, and a collaborative spirit.

• Own the operational finance work, including accounts receivable, billing, burn reconciliation, and revenue reconciliation.
• Run month-end finance cycles, including burn calculation and reconciliation, and own revenue reporting.
• Automate the finance function by identifying repetitive tasks and implementing solutions to improve efficiency.
• Our ideal hire has an accounting or finance background (2–5 years of experience) and genuinely enjoys the detail-oriented work of getting the numbers exactly right, even when it's painstaking
• The best fit is someone who wants to own operational finance at a startup — either an accountant ready to move out of traditional accounting into something more impactful, or someone who's already worked in the finance function of a startup and wants more ownership of how it runs.
