About The Role

Join Muon Space, a leading aerospace company, as a Senior Program Manager for Commercial Payloads. In this role, you will be responsible for successfully delivering solutions, products, and technology while managing cost and schedule baselines contracts with the U.S. Government and Commercial Organizations. You will collaborate closely with various departments, support business development, and lead a multidisciplinary aerospace development effort.   • Lead and manage the successful delivery of solutions, products, and technology for commercial payloads, ensuring adherence to cost and schedule baselines.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, business, legal, finance, and operations, to support program execution and growth.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to plan and coordinate resources necessary for program execution, and track and report program metrics.
  • Or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, (B) eligible to access the export controlled information without a required export authorization, or (C) eligible and reasonably likely to obtain the required export authorization from the applicable U.S. government agency
  • Must either be (A) a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157
  • B.S. in an engineering discipline, M.S. or Ph.D. preferred
  • Experience in vendor and contract management
  • 5+ years relevant experience in program management
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with ability to work successfully across all engineering disciplines
  • Expertise in modern, cloud-based productivity tools
  • Experience in development and/or program management of satellite based systems. Ability to instantiate and manage integrated master schedules
  • Track record of successfully delivering complete systems (hardware, firmware, software, algorithms) on time, to scope, with high quality
  • System engineering and experience with inter-discipline technical trade study
  • Experience working with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Julia) and database queries (e..g SQL, BigQuery) for data integration, analysis, and dashboarding
  • Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Experience managing and growing teams
