Senior Electrical Engineer (HW Systems)

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our products, from concept to delivery to manufacturing. You will be responsible for schematic board design and layout, as well as bring-up, debug, and validation. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of consumer, automotive, and industrial electronics.

• Ownership of electrical product design from concept to delivery to manufacturing, proactively anticipating and addressing potential roadblocks.
• Design schematics and board layouts of medium to high complexity mixed signal PCBA, ensuring board fitment, clearances, and thermal issues are considered during board layout.
• Work closely with hardware team to select components and write hardware design specifications for board level assemblies, and manage electrical engineering CAD tools and libraries.
• 7+ years’ experience with schematic design, ideally w/Altium for schematic capture and board layout
• Track record of delivering working product at product-oriented companies
• Experience with sensor integration including MEMS and GNSS RF design
• Excellent communications skills
• BSEE or MSEE degree with emphasis on Analog, Mixed Signal, and DSP Design
• Experience in system designs from concept to mass production
• Communication buses including RS-232, RS-422, CAN, Ethernet, SPI
• Front-end power supply protection for products
