About The Role

Join our growing Legal team as the Director of Legal Affairs & Employment Expert. In this role, you will draft, review, and negotiate various legal contracts, handle global employment issues, provide legal guidance to clients, and work closely with the company's global partners. You will also interact with various departments within the company and leverage AI-powered tools to support legal workflows. The ideal candidate is an experienced commercial and employment lawyer with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of labor and employment laws.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal contracts with clients, partners, vendors, and third parties.
  • Handle global employment issues and serve as the expert point of contact for labor and employment law matters, including litigation.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to support legal workflows, including contract analysis, legal drafting, employment law research, and synthesis of multi-jurisdiction legal requirements.
  • Our ideal candidate is an experienced commercial and employment lawyer who will serve as the company's and its clients' professional point of contact across commercial contracts and global employment law matters
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Expertise in labor and employment laws (local or international)
  • Experience in human resources or any other related field - an advantage
  • Multi-tasker, self-motivated and persistent
  • EU-qualified attorney/lawyer with 5+ years' experience as in-house counsel in a High-Tech/Fintech company or prominent law firm
  • Ability to effectively leverage AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability of legal advisory and employment-related legal processes while maintaining high standards of legal accuracy, confidentiality, and professional judgment
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI tools as an integral part of legal workflows, including legal drafting, contract review, employment law research, legal summarization, and cross-jurisdiction legal analysis
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Comfortable dealing with a global customer base and interacting in a multicultural environment
  • Able to communicate legal issues and solutions clearly and concisely
  • Attention to detail
  • Fluent English (written and oral)
  • Experience in litigation - an advantage
