Integration Solutions Specialist

Join Papaya, a fast-growing SaaS company, as an Integration Solutions Specialist. In this role, you will lead customers through the setup, configuration, and validation of their integrations with Papaya. You will work closely with customer HRIS, payroll, and IT teams, configure and test integrations, and guide customers through Papaya's self-service integration tools. This position is perfect for someone who loves solving workflow challenges without writing code and leveraging AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency and customer outcomes.

• Lead customers through the setup, configuration, and validation of their integrations with Papaya, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
• Work closely with customer HRIS, payroll, and IT teams to understand source systems, field mappings, and business workflows, and configure and test integrations.
• Collaborate with Product, Support, and Engineering to resolve complex integration cases and prevent recurring issues, providing product feedback based on customer experience.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills with the ability to break down technical topics clearly
• Comfortable reading API responses in Postman (no coding required)
• Strong understanding of data structures, file formats (CSV, Excel), and mapping concepts
• Familiarity with relational databases or basic SQL is an advantage but not mandatory
• Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environments
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple parallel customer integrations
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered workflows, automations, or custom AI solutions that improve operational efficiency, data validation, troubleshooting, integration processes, or customer onboarding experiences
• 3–5 years in an integration-focused role such as HRIS Integrations, Technical Implementation, Workflow Configuration, or Payroll Systems Specialist
• Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot data issues (experience with DataDog/Coralogix/Splunk a plus)
• Ability to identify opportunities for AI adoption and implement practical solutions that improve accuracy, scalability, and customer experience
• Experience working with HRIS, payroll, ERP, or finance systems (BambooHR, HiBob, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Namely, NetSuite, etc.)
• Experience creating AI-driven workflows, agents, or no/low-code automations and integrating them into day-to-day work processes
