Senior Platform Engineer - Developer Experience (d/f/m)

Join Personio, an intelligent HR platform that helps small and medium-sized organizations streamline their HR processes. As a Senior Platform Engineer (Developer Experience), you will design and support platform solutions that empower over 300 developers across 40 product teams. You will build and evolve our GraphQL middleware layer, create internal tools and libraries/SDKs, establish standards and best practices, and analyze and optimize platform systems. This role requires 5+ years of experience in platform engineering and/or backend development, strong programming skills in a JVM language, and a passion for developer productivity and platform excellence.

• Design and support platform solutions that empower developers across product teams, including internal tooling, standards, SDKs, and middleware.
• Build and evolve the GraphQL middleware layer that connects frontends with backend services, and create internal tools and libraries/SDKs to enhance developer productivity.
• Establish standards and best practices for API design, service integration, and platform usage across the organization, and analyze and optimize platform systems.
