Associate Principal (Payer Partnerships)

Join Headway as an Associate Principal, Payer Partnerships. In this role, you will support the growth of strategic partnerships with health plans, manage long-term relationships, navigate contract strategy, and lead market analysis. You will collaborate with internal teams and serve as the face of Headway in meetings with health plan senior leaders. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in healthcare, is data-driven, thrives in ambiguity, and is motivated by the opportunity to improve access to mental healthcare.

• Be responsible for long term management of health plan partnerships with some of the largest health plans in the US, navigating contract strategy and renegotiations to optimize partnership structure and success.
• Build and grow relationships with health plan teams and leadership across multiple functions (Network, Sales/Commercial, Product), leading market analysis and owning healthcare research to shape strategy.
• Collaborate with cross functional, internal stakeholders to deliver insights to inform product and operations strategy, leveraging data to generate insights and identify new opportunities for partnership growth.
• You have a minimum of 7+ years of experience in the healthcare space, preferably in roles within Customer Success, Business Development, or in Strategic customer-facing roles
• You are highly data-driven and a self-starter. You can drive complex analyses and translate ambiguous problems into key actionable insights
