About The Role

Join our team as a Software Engineer Intern in Lyon, France. You'll work closely with our AI team to improve the usability and deployment of our on-premise AI software. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing a user-friendly interface, building an installation wizard, and improving the application's usability. This internship offers hands-on experience in software engineering, UI management and design, C++ and Python programming, and high-scale application deployment.

**Must Have:**

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Good programming skills in C++ and/or Python
Knowledge of GUI development using frameworks such as Qt, WPF, Electron, or similar
Understanding of the constraints and needs of software packaging and installation concepts
Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Comfortable working in an international environment

**Nice to Have:**

Experience building simple desktop applications
Knowledge of Windows Installer (MSI), Inno Setup, NSIS, or similar installer frameworks
Experience with CMake or other build systems
Familiarity with Docker or containerized applicationsInterest in UX/UI design and software usability
Good practices in code writing (balancing correctly code length, efficiency and readability)
