Safety Analysis Engineer VIE F/H

Join our Fuel Design team as a Safety Analysis Engineer. In this role, you will perform thermal-hydraulic safety analyses to support the design, licensing, and operation of pressurized water reactors (PWRs) or boiling water reactors (BWRs). You will work alongside experienced nuclear engineers and analysts, develop accident simulation models, evaluate plant behavior under transient conditions, and support the safe deployment of nuclear fuel technologies.

• Effectuer et documenter des analyses d'accidents non-LOCA et LOCA en utilisant le code RELAP5 ou similaire.
• Collaborer avec des équipes interfonctionnelles pour garantir l'exactitude et la rapidité des résultats d'analyse de sécurité.
• Participer à la préparation de rapports techniques, de présentations et de documentation réglementaire.

Required

• B.S. or M.S. in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with thermal-hydraulic principles and reactor system behavior
• Experience using RELAP or similar code (e.g., TRACE, RETRAN, CATHARE, etc.) to simulate reactor system behavior during postulated accidents.
• Proficiency working in Linux
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar tools for data analysis and automation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and work effectively in a team environment

Preferred

• Experience with PWR or BWR systems
• Exposure to accident analysis methodologies and safety evaluation processes
• Familiarity with model development, validation, and uncertainty quantification
