Senior Business Operations & Strategy Associate

Join MongoDB as a Business Operations & Strategy Associate, where you will drive strategic and operational initiatives across the company. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and solve complex business problems, develop and implement coherent strategies and business plans, and conduct ad-hoc analysis in support of cross-functional stakeholders and executive management. This role requires a driven self-starter with a proven track record of using data to drive business decisions, advanced Excel and Google Slides or PowerPoint skills, and excellent communication skills.

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional strategic initiatives to identify and execute against opportunities to improve the business.
• Partner with go-to-market teams to develop and implement coherent strategies and business plans.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis in support of cross-functional stakeholders and executive management across all business functions.
• This position requires a driven self-starter who is able to communicate clearly and effectively with leadership and successfully juggle multiple priorities
• Proven track record of using data to drive business decisions including the ability to structure problems for analysis
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work in a self-guided manner
• Advanced Excel and Google Slides or PowerPoint skills
• Ability to move quickly and iterate on analyses
• BA/BS; MBA is preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize strategic insights in an actionable and compelling manner
• Confidence using SQL for fetching and manipulating data; experience with a scripting language such as Python or R is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in business strategy and operations with 2-3 years as a management consultant, investment banker, or in a comparable role at a technology company; SaaS experience is a plus
