Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis

Join MongoDB as a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis. In this role, you will work closely with senior finance leadership to shape and manage the global forecasting and planning process. You will build and modernize financial planning tools, coordinate forecasts, develop management reporting, and lead a small team of analysts. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in FP&A or other finance functions, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.

• You will be process oriented and enjoy creating process and structure where there may be ambiguity and be skilled at finding creative solutions to non-obvious problems. On any given day, you could find yourself in the operational/tactical details, followed by meetings focused on vision / strategy!
• Excited by problem solving and having the ability to roll-up your sleeves and work with team members to figure out answers to a wide array of questions
• Extremely organized with a natural bent towards making sense of mess
• 5+ years of experience within FP&A or other finance functions
• Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
• Highly articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Technically competent and curious - you like learning new systems and are constantly exploring new tools and technologies; building lightweight connectivity (e.g. gsheet plug-ins) is well within your comfort zone
• Strong project management skills. You will need to be detail oriented, love multi-tasking and have excellent follow through
• Bachelor’s Degree; finance, business or economics preferred, MBA a plus
• Expert in financial modelling, Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, and Pigment
