Tech Lead

Join our team as a Tech Lead, where you'll play a crucial role in scaling our product and team. This position involves making key technical decisions, tackling complex problems, and mentoring engineers while ensuring a top-notch developer experience. You'll design, build, and deploy high-quality backend code, develop and scale new products and features, and optimize infrastructure for high availability and efficiency. This is a player-coach role, with approximately 80% of your time spent coding.

• Design, build, and deploy high-quality backend code in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring stability and performance.
• Lead the team through sprint planning, mentoring, and execution, while making key technical decisions and tackling complex problems.
• Optimize infrastructure, databases, and system architecture for high availability and efficiency, balancing speed, reliability, and maintainability.

• Prior experience as a Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, or similar leadership role
• Strong technical, architectural, and troubleshooting skills
• Good “taste” for software and API design
• Proven ability to lead teams, organize projects, and drive execution
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience designing and building high-scale backend systems
• Experience with Rust, Postgres, and Redis (or ability to ramp up quickly)
