Corporate Strategy Director

Join nexfibre, a leading company in the telecommunications sector, as a Corporate Strategy Director. In this role, you will work closely with senior management and the board of directors to define the strategic priorities and direction of the business. You will lead various projects, analyze market opportunities, and drive the execution of M&A and joint venture opportunities. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling and analytical skills, experience in M&A assessment and execution, and a passion for connecting communities and driving innovation.

• Collaborate with senior management and the board of directors to define strategic priorities and direction for the business.
• Lead the assessment of the market landscape and execute inorganic M&A and joint venture opportunities.
• Manage a range of projects across all aspects of the business, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
• Experience of M&A assessment and execution will be highly advantageous
• Self-sufficient, comfortable with working autonomously as well as in cross-functional teams and proactive in proposing commercial solutions; acting as strategic business adviser to senior management
• Geo-spatial analytical experience would be an advantage
• Degree level education / relevant professional qualifications
• Dynamic and proficient in managing multiple projects at any one time
• Excellent communication and programme management skills
• Relevant years experience in strategy consultancy (private practice/inhouse), ideally in the telecoms sector and with fibre experience
• Strong commercial acumen, together with the ability and creditability to form effective relationships across all levels, including senior levels of management
