About The Role

Join our team as a Senior Platform Engineer, where you will design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and automation that power our applications. You will work collaboratively with operations, development, and security teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. Your responsibilities will include managing cloud-based infrastructure, overseeing container orchestration platforms, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and implementing security measures. This is a remote position with flexible hours and 28 days of vacation per year.

Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure (AWS) for scalability, reliability, and security.
Manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, or similar tools, and oversee container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable deployments, and automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
At least 6 years of experience in senior Platform, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles
Background in SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) practices
Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or any similar tool)
Strong understanding of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.)
Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, etc.)
Solid grasp of networking, system administration, and cloud security practices
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
Strong expertise with AWS cloud platform
Experience leading projects and influencing engineering decisions
Programming skills in TypeScript, Python or Go
