About The Role

Join Kingfisher, a leading home improvement company with a diverse team of over 74,000 passionate individuals. As a Senior FinOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in cloud cost management, optimization, and reporting initiatives. You will collaborate with various teams, drive cloud cost optimization activities, and contribute to the development of dashboards and reporting solutions. This is a hybrid position based in Kraków, with one day per week in the office.

Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of cost and forecasting models to provide clear insights into current and future cloud spend.
Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to accurately allocate cloud costs across teams, products, and platforms, support forecasting activities, and identify key cost drivers.
Drive cloud cost optimisation initiatives by recommending reserved instances and savings plans, identifying rightsizing opportunities, and reducing unnecessary spend across cloud environments.
