Content Creator (Cybersecurity)
SentinelOne · New-York, United States
About The Role
Join SentinelOne as a Content Creator, where you'll be the face and hands behind our short-form video content. You'll shoot, edit, and publish platform-native videos that bring fresh storytelling from various media into the cybersecurity space. Depending on your background, you'll either lead community engagement or focus primarily on content production. This role offers a range of benefits, including unlimited time off, flexible spending accounts, and a 401K plan.
- Conceptualize, shoot, edit, and publish high-volume, platform-native video content that translates cybersecurity topics into engaging content.
- Engage with customers, partners, and security influencers across social media channels, responding to and fostering community engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive content strategy, translating their objectives into video and social content that performs.
- Proficiency with content creation and editing tools (e.g. CapCut, Edits, Premiere, Adobe Creative Suite) as well as social/community management tools and AI applications
- Deep understanding of what makes video travel on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn and X — including platform-specific formats, algorithms and audience behaviors
- Comfort translating complex, technical ideas into content that a broad audience wants to watch — cybersecurity expertise is a strong plus, but not a prerequisite for the video-first version of this role
- Highly organized, self-directed and able to manage multiple workstreams and a consistent publishing cadence without losing quality or speed
- 2–5 years of experience creating content for a brand, publication, campaign or your own channel(s), ideally with time in or adjacent to consumer brands, sports media, political communications, entertainment, or directly within the cybersecurity ecosystem
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, or a related field — or equivalent experience building an audience/community independently
- Technical or cybersecurity background and experience building or engaging with online communities (Reddit, Discord, Twitch, forums) is highly desired — candidates with this combination will expand community management capabilities as part of this role
- A demonstrated track record as a hands-on, on-camera content creator — you can shoot, edit, write and publish short-form video without waiting on an agency or production team (a portfolio or reel is a must)
- Exceptional storytelling instincts, with range across tones (authoritative, punchy, human, urgent) and formats (talking-head, skits, interviews, reactive/trend content)
