Data Science Intern (FT Potential)

Join our Data team as a Data Science Intern. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn and build. You will analyze large data sets, optimize SQL, contribute to credit risk models, and present findings to the team and leadership. • Support the team in analyzing large data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Write and optimize production SQL against our data warehouse to power analyses and model features.
• Contribute to the development, improvement, and monitoring of credit risk models used for underwriting and portfolio management.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• A proactive and hands-on approach with the ability to work independently
• Experience working in Data Science through internships, academic projects, or similar
• Motivation to learn and grow in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a simple and actionable way
• A degree (or pursuing one) in a quantitative or business-related field
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, experience with MLOps tools are a plus
• Experience of working in startups or in credit risk underwriting is a plus
