District Manager (Financials)

Join VAST Data, the AI Operating System for the modern enterprise, as a District Manager for Financial Services. In this role, you will lead a team of Enterprise Account Executives, develop go-to-market strategies for the hedge fund vertical, and partner closely with various departments to establish VAST Data as the platform of choice for AI and high-performance data infrastructure in financial services. This position requires a proven leader with experience selling into sophisticated financial institutions and a strong understanding of enterprise data architecture and AI infrastructure.

• Lead and manage a team of Enterprise Account Executives to drive new business and expand strategic relationships across hedge funds and financial institutions.
• Develop and execute the regional business strategy, including go-to-market plays for the hedge fund vertical, in collaboration with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales Engineering teams.
• Recruit, hire, and train additional sales representatives as needed, providing guidance and support to ensure their success in growing the business.
• 5+ years leading enterprise sales teams with a track record of exceeding revenue targets
• Deep experience selling into hedge funds, quantitative trading firms, or large financial institutions
• Experience partnering with channels, strategic alliances, and ecosystem partners is highly desirable
• Strong executive presence with the ability to engage C-level decision makers
• Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
• Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, AI infrastructure, storage, cloud, and high-performance computing environments
• 10+ years of enterprise technology sales experience, with significant experience selling infrastructure, AI, cloud, or data platforms
• Experience building new markets or vertical practices from the ground up
