Senior Systems Engineer

Join VAST Data, one of the fastest-growing infrastructure companies in history, as a Senior Systems Engineer. In this role, you will assist customers with evaluations, benchmarks, system configurations, and installations. You will work closely with VAST R&D Engineering to define product requirements and usability, and participate in the creation of sales strategy and tactics. You will also demonstrate technical leadership and subject matter expertise on storage products and architectures, and help develop a dispersed group of system and field engineers.

• Knowledge of virtualization, high-performance networking and enterprise security
• 5+ years of experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage to large IT organizations
• Ability to perform in an unstructured environment
• Understanding of classic unstructured data applications and next-generation analytics and web frameworks
