About The Role

Join Aviva Investors as the Head of Product Development (Public Markets). In this role, you will lead a team of Product Development Managers and be responsible for new product development activity across Public Markets strategies. You will collaborate with various areas of the company to conduct feasibility assessments for new products, oversee the build and launch of new products, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong product experience in the investment industry and a passion for innovation.

  • Lead a team of Product Development Managers and be accountable for new product development activity across Public Markets strategies.
  • Collaborate across all areas of Aviva Investors to carry out detailed feasibility assessments for new products, ensuring they meet client needs and demonstrate robust financial business cases.
  • Oversee the build and launches of new products, including project management, with a focus on delivering good client outcomes and managing risk in a thoughtful and responsible way.

  • Experience in launching ETF products and an understanding of tokenisation would be highly valued

  • Experience as a people leader who can motivate, develop, and empower individuals and teams to succeed - operating within a complex and fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently and clearly with a wide range of audiences, including committees, boards, and colleagues across different levels and functions
  • Strong, demonstrable experience in product roles within the investment industry, alongside awareness of product trends, innovation, and regulatory developments
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, ensuring all product design and development activities remain compliant
  • Experience launching ETF products, with a strong understanding of tokenisation
