About The Role

Join our team as an Electrical Engineer, where you will be responsible for the design, manufacture, and testing of power circuitry for highly integrated PCBAs used in space communication systems. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team and take a full-stack approach to building robust space communication systems.

3+ years of professional experience designing power circuitry
Experience in modeling, simulation, and testing of power electronics
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or other STEM discipline
Proven experience doing schematic capture and layout in Altium Designer or similar
Experience designing and debugging power converters
Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
Familiar with failure mode effects and criticality analysis (FMEA)
Experience designing power trees with complex sequencing requirements
Strong grasp of DC-DC topologies, with ability to select optimal architectures and components
Familiarity with a wide range of topologies such as push-pull, buck, boost, buck-boost, forward, half-bridge, full-bridge, LLC resonant and phase-shifted full-bridge converters
Working experience in voltage and current mode control and compensation design
Experience with hand-on impedance measurement and loop-gain measurement
Familiarity with spacecraft electrical power systems
