Licorne Society a été missionné par une startup DeepTech en pleine croissance pour les aider à trouver leur Data Engineer.
**About the position**
Our climate tech startup is looking for a junior profile to assist the CTO as a Data Engineer. Are you ambitious, proactive, autonomous, passionate about tech and Big Data, and eager to contribute to addressing climate change? Join us! We are seeking a bright and motivated individual to help develop our data processing and delivery infrastructure as well as deploy our AI models to production.
**Who are we?**
We are a deep tech climate startup operating at the intersection of AI, climate science, and risk modeling. It aims to develop state-of-the-art AI models to provide the most accurate estimations of climate risks (droughts, floods, etc.) over time frames ranging from a few months to several years. Despite its critical importance in operational decision-making, this field is currently underperforming and lacking innovation: a gap we aim to fill as the effects of climate change become increasingly severe.
The company was founded in 2023 by a repeat entrepreneur and his former PhD advisor at Columbia University (New York, USA). Pierre is renowned for his research in climate science and artificial intelligence, which was cited in reference to the latest Nobel Prize in Physics.
After 18 months of cutting-edge R&D and a recent €2M+ seed round, we're entering a new phase of growth. We are building a talented software team to bring our proprietary AI models to life through robust and scalable digital products.
- Offices in Montpellier and Paris
- Tech-driven, purpose-led, early-stage startup
- Backed by leading investors in climate and deeptech
