Technical Consultant - Production and Architecture

Join Murex, a leading provider of software solutions for the financial industry. As a Technical Consultant in the PAC team, you will provide customized technical support to clients in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Your responsibilities will include infrastructure hardware sizing, disaster recovery site strategies, platform security requirements, performance non-functional testing, and assisting clients in designing monitoring dashboards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for problem-solving.

• Maximizing client satisfaction with the MX.3 platform by addressing technical issues and ensuring best practices.
• Providing infrastructure hardware sizing, formulating disaster recovery strategies, and ensuring platform security.
• Leading, designing, and executing performance non-functional testing streams, and assisting clients in designing dashboards.

**Your Profile**

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Eagerness to learn the latest Murex technologies.
• Passion for problem-solving and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Ability to work under pressure in operations and support scopes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good team player, capable of interacting with our team across different regions.

**If you have relevant technical experience, we expect you to have:**

• Programming Skills: Java or C and any interpreted language.
• Database Skills: SQL query building and performance analysis (Database administration skills for Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, or PostgreSQL are a plus).
• Operating Systems power user skills: Linux – Bash scripting.
• Familiar with Java profiling tools
• Proficient in Java debugging tools to diagnose issues related to threads, heap dumps and garbage collection.
• Familiar with any performance testing tool.
• Ability to analyze Java thread dumps.
