Senior Software Engineer (Core Experiences)

Join Speechify, the leading platform for audio information. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Core Experiences Team, you will build and maintain foundational services and SDKs that power our product experience across platforms. You will collaborate with product teams, optimize existing functionality, and ship cloud functions and lightweight backend services using Kotlin. This is a critical role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of product and infrastructure and is passionate about designing clear, reliable APIs and simple systems that enhance the user experience.

• Collaborate with Product Teams to scope projects, reduce scope for faster feedback, and deliver solutions via cross-platform SDK.
• Optimize existing functionality to improve loading speed and parsing intelligence by designing efficient abstractions and improving algorithms.
• Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin, while applying systems thinking and focusing on simplicity.
• Systems thinking. You know that optimizing a system requires end-to-end design, and you believe simplicity is valuable

• Kotlin Multiplatform (Java experience is OK but role is Kotlin Multiplatform)
