Senior Software Engineer (Core Experiences)

Join Speechify as a Senior Software Engineer on our Core Experiences Team. In this critical role, you will build and maintain foundational services and SDKs that power our product experience across platforms. You will collaborate with product teams, optimize existing functionality, and ship cloud functions and lightweight backend services using Kotlin. This position requires strong systems thinking, focus, collaboration, and speed. Prior experience with GCP is a plus.

• Collaborate with Product Teams to scope projects, reduce scope for faster feedback, and deliver solutions via cross-platform SDK.
• Optimize existing functionality to improve performance, design more efficient abstractions, and enhance algorithms.
• Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin, focusing on designing clear, reliable APIs.
• It's a critical role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of product and infrastructure, thinks strategically, and is passionate about designing clear, reliable APIs and simple systems that directly enhance the user experience
