Research Engineer (Generalist)

Join our team as a Research Engineer (Generalist) and work across our search and retrieval stack, focusing on crawling, parsing, ML performance, and retrieval algorithms. You will design and ship a new parser to improve retrieval performance, enhance the throughput and latency of ML models, and make our web crawler three times faster. This role requires great intellectual horsepower, attention to detail, and a passion for finding high-quality information.

• Research and develop new algorithms and techniques to improve the performance of search and retrieval systems.
• Design and implement a new parser that significantly enhances retrieval performance and improves the overall quality of search endpoints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the throughput and latency of machine learning models used in search and retrieval.
