About The Role

Join Middesk as a Product Designer and play a crucial role in helping businesses maintain compliance and manage risk. You'll design intuitive experiences that empower customers to make informed decisions in highly regulated industries. You'll own the end-to-end design process, collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams, and shape Middesk's design system and visual language. Enjoy benefits such as healthcare, unlimited PTO, stock options, 401(k), parental leave, hybrid work, and catered lunches.

  • Deeply familiar with LLM-powered development tooling (Claude Code, Codex, or similar) and able to use it to build end-to-end prototypes with little to no engineering support
  • Able to navigate and interpret complex data and reason about how best to surface it in the user experience. Sound judgment about how data is represented is core to the craft
  • Strong communication skills, able to clearly articulate design decisions and advocate for customers' needs
  • A strong portfolio of work demonstrating the ability to turn complex or abstract customer challenges into simple, intuitive solutions
  • Over 6+ years of in house product design experience delivering impactful solutions for B2B products, bonus points if you have direct experience designing for platforms that work with business or consumer data
  • A proactive approach to advancing work, taking initiative to move projects forward and keep teams aligned through changing priorities
  • A systems thinker who bridges user experience and API-driven systems, with familiarity in developer tooling such as SDK configuration, setup flows, and technical onboarding
  • Product-minded and can collaborate closely with PMs to help frame problems, scope work, and drive decisions rather than waiting for fully defined requirements
  • Proficiency in design tools, including prototyping, collaborating in shared design files, and effectively leveraging and maintaining design system components
  • Working experience in product management, front-end development, or engineering
