Security Software Engineer

As a Security Software Engineer, you will design and build IAM systems, focus on supply chain security, and create secure internal tooling for engineers. This is a software engineering role first, and a dedicated security background is not required. You will have high ownership from day one and direct access to experienced engineers invested in your growth.

• Designing and building Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems for enterprise customers.
• Implementing security measures in the software development lifecycle, focusing on supply chain security.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and convenient internal tooling for engineers.
• You've built and shipped systems at scale, not just advised on them
• Clear communicator who can work across teams without losing technical depth
• You own implementation end-to-end, from design to delivery
• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficient in Ruby on Rails
• Experience with IAM, authn/authz frameworks, or identity protocols (OAuth, SAML, OIDC)
• Familiarity with software supply chain security, secure SDLC, or AI/ML security risks
• You've worked somewhere where PII or sensitive data was the core product
