Senior Software Engineer (Integrations)

Join Mashgin, a leading company in autonomous checkout technology. As a Senior Software Engineer, Integrations, you will be responsible for integrating our kiosks with various customer environments, payment systems, and enterprise apps. This multi-layered role involves engineering APIs, app services, embedded systems, and networks to solve integration gaps. You will have total ownership over your work and directly impact the product we ship every day.

• Building and maintaining integrations between Mashgin's checkout kiosks and customer payment, point-of-sale, and enterprise systems.
• Developing software that bridges embedded devices, payment terminals, peripherals, backend services, and customer APIs into a seamless end-to-end experience.
• Working directly with internal teams and enterprise customers to understand integration requirements, troubleshoot production issues, and deliver elegant technical solutions.
• Comfortable learning new languages, libraries, and frameworks when the solution calls for it
• Experience building production-ready code that’s used regularly by lots of people
• 5+ years relevant coding experience
• B.S. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
• Excellent knowledge of one or more of these languages: Python, C++, TypeScript
• Experience building software from firmware up to the application layer, especially for a public facing device
• Solid, working experience building software that closely interacts with hardware (payment systems, point of sales, fuel controllers are a plus)
• Strong proficiency with Python, C, and C++
• Experience meeting with and demoing new features for customers
