About The Role

Join Crusoe, a leading company in AI infrastructure, as the Director of Employee Success. In this strategic role, you will partner with VPs and senior leaders in Product and Engineering, shaping team structure, talent growth, and company culture. You will lead organizational assessments, coach managers, develop career frameworks, drive engagement and retention strategies, and use data analytics to inform decision-making. Additionally, you will collaborate with recruiting, refine people programs, champion an inclusive culture, and lead change management efforts.

  • Strategic Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to Product and Engineering VPs, providing insights on organizational design, team structure, and people strategy.
  • Talent Planning: Lead organizational assessments and headcount planning to ensure tech teams are built for future growth.
  • Manager Development: Coach and develop engineering and product managers, helping them level up as leaders and build high-performing teams.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • High EQ and sound judgment — especially when navigating sensitive or complex people situations with discretion
  • The kind of follow-through that makes people trust you completely — you do what you say, communicate proactively, and never leave a leader guessing
  • Strong data orientation — you use people analytics to tell stories, spot risks, and make the case for what needs to change
  • Deep fluency in what makes tech orgs tick — you understand how engineers and PMs think, what motivates them, and how to build trust in a technical environment
  • 10+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or equivalent, with meaningful time supporting Product and/or Engineering organizations
  • Experience coaching managers through difficult performance conversations, team dynamics, and leadership transitions
  • The ability to work autonomously and drive initiatives from concept to execution — you’re a builder, not just an executor
  • Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments — you don’t need a perfect playbook to do great work
  • A track record of partnering with senior leaders on org design, headcount planning, and talent strategy — not just executing programs handed to you
  • A genuine curiosity about AI and the infrastructure that powers it — you don’t need to write code, but you’re energized by what Crusoe is building
  • Experience supporting a hypergrowth tech company through a significant scaling phase
  • Familiarity with tools like Workday, Ashby, or similar HRIS/ATS platforms
  • Experience building or refining people programs from scratch in a scaling organization
