GL Accountant

You will work closely with various teams, ensuring accurate tracking and reconciliation of transactions. • Review cash transactions, ensure completeness of cash entries, and perform monthly cash reconciliations.
• Reconcile sub-ledgers or systems to the general ledger for accruals and other transactions.
• Coordinate and own relationships with tax, treasury, fixed asset, and revenue accounting teams.
• Technical Mastery: Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP regarding cash, accrual processes, internal controls, and accounting best practices
• Experience: 2–3 years of accounting experience
• Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems. Excel skills are essential
• Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Data Fluency: Exceptional ability to manipulate and analyze voluminous amounts of data with speed and accuracy
• Experience in the data center, energy, or heavy manufacturing industries
• Experience implementing or optimizing advanced excel functionalities such as Power Queries
• Experience with multiple systems such as Sage Intacct, FloQast, Coupa, and Kyriba
• CPA license or candidate for licensure
