Senior Manager of Business Operations
Crusoe Energy Systems · New York, United States
About The Role
Join Crusoe's Business Operations team as a Senior Manager of Business Operations. In this high-visibility role, you will bridge executive strategy and operational execution, drive critical cross-functional initiatives, and help establish Crusoe's M&A integration function. You will own problems end-to-end, structure ambiguous issues, and deliver actionable recommendations to executive leadership. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in business operations, M&A integration, or a comparable role, and possesses strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Lead high-priority cross-functional initiatives that drive alignment and business outcomes across various departments.
- Help build and lead Crusoe’s M&A integration function, creating standardized playbooks, workflows, and structures for rapid execution of deals.
- Design and roll out operational frameworks and processes that improve how Crusoe plans, makes decisions, and executes.
- We're seeking a results-driven operator with 8+ years of experience who is energized by fast-moving environments where the playbook hasn't been written yet
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships and drive alignment across teams without direct authority
- Track record of leading cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, from scoping through execution
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and communicate insights to senior leaders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
- 8+ years of experience in business operations, M&A integration, corporate development, management consulting, investment banking, or a comparable role at a high-growth technology or capital-intensive company
- Hands-on experience running M&A integrations (not just advising on them) including building playbooks, work-plans, managing cross-functional work-streams, and tracking against milestones
- MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative or business discipline
- Experience with consumption-based or capital intensive business models
- Experience in businesses related to artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure, enterprise software, and/or AI chip development
