Software Engineer II (Managed Platform Services)

Join Crusoe Cloud as a Software Engineer II, where you'll design, build, and scale customer-facing platforms and managed services. You'll focus on delivering a world-class customer experience and empowering users to unlock the full potential of Crusoe Cloud. This full-time position involves building foundational infrastructure, designing scalable services, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing innovative features. You'll also own the development and maintenance of specific software modules, lead the design phase for new functionality, and enhance the team's operational health. Additionally, you'll mentor new teammates and analyze performance metrics for optimization.

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

• Technical Proficiency: Strong fundamentals in microservices and infrastructure technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD systems. Experience with observability principles and technologies, e.g., time-series databases, log aggregation, distributed tracing
• Professional Experience: 3-5 years of software development experience, including programming with modern compiled languages such as Go, Rust, Java, or C++
• Cloud Expertise: Proven ability to design and scale fault-tolerant distributed systems and develop managed cloud services
