Employment Counsel

Join Whatnot, the largest live shopping platform in North America and Europe. As an Employment Counsel, you will provide legal support across multiple international markets, advising on a wide range of employment matters and helping to build compliant employment programs and policies. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Irish and UK employment law, experience advising on international jurisdictions, and strong judgment.

• Act as a trusted advisor to the People team and managers on a wide range of international employment legal matters, including recruiting, compensation, performance management, restructurings, separations, internal investigations and disciplinary processes.
• Develop, implement, and scale compliant employment programs, policies, and practices; help shape our employment legal strategy to create a culture of high performance and alignment to Whatnot’s values and People philosophy.
• Draft and review employment-related documents, including employment agreements, equity and compensation documentation, settlement agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, and separation documentation.
