Enterprise Engagement Manager

Join Proton as an Engagement Manager, where you'll be responsible for shaping how the company engages with distribution businesses. You'll work directly with customers to understand their needs, design solutions, and drive engagement from kickoff through go-live and beyond. This role requires a strong understanding of both business and technical aspects, as well as a product mindset and comfort with ambiguity. • Scope implementations and own the solution design, partnering with customers on new use cases and integrations.
• Run engagements from kickoff through go-live, then into adoption and expansion, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Drive adoption after go-live and find ways to expand the account, bringing insights from the field back to Product.
• Comfort with ambiguity. When scope changes mid-engagement, you re-plan and keep going
• Comfortable making the case to a VP or C-level buyer
• Low ego, high ownership. This function is still being built, and you'll help build it
• Real experience using AI tools (Claude or similar) in your work, with specifics on how
• A history of owning delivery, not just the recommendation
• A product mindset. You find the real problem, separate must-haves from nice-to-haves, and you're energized by building something new
• Technical aptitude and the appetite to go deeper. You can talk through APIs and data flows, but you don't need to write code
• 5–8+ years owning ambiguous, customer-facing problems end to end in professional services, solutions, consulting, product, or a startup
